Larry John Lawrence, age 80, of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Medi Lodge at the Shore.  He was born on September 18, 1943, in Holland, MI, to the late George and Frances (Purdy) Lawrence.

Larry worked at H.J. Heinz Corp in Holland early on, then began his career at Challenge Machinery as a machinist. Larry was known as a man who could fix anything and could often be found "Tinkering " out in the garage. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and would go to assisted living facilities to bring joy to the residents through his gift of music. He enjoyed watching the Lions, and Antiques Road Show on T.V. and going to garage sales. He would often buy treasures, "tinker" with them a bit, then resell them. Larry was known as a very nice guy all around, with a gentle demeaner who loved visiting people. His faith was a very important part of his life. He enjoyed his cars, especially his white corvette, always keeping them clean.

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kevin (Kelly) Lawrence, Larry (Terri) Lawrence, Nancy (Aaron) Beeman, and Laura (Roger) Stillson; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great-grandchildren; 8 Sisters; and 9 Brothers.

He was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter; 2 Great-grandchildren; 4 Brothers; and 2 Sisters.

A Memorial Visitation for Larry will take place on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
