Kathy Ann (Marshall) Conway

Kathy Ann Conway, age 82 of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. She was born on May 21, 1941 in Rainsboro, Ohio, to Elbert and Mary (Purdin) Marshall.

After graduating from High School, Kathy married Harry Conway on June 4, 1965 in Marshall, MI. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2011, after 46 years of marriage.

Kathy had been employed by Burnside Manufacturing, Story and Clark Piano Factory, and J.S.J. Corp. Michigan Plastics facility prior to her semi-retirement. She loved her flowers, and enjoyed working in her yard and garden, and visiting with her neighbors. Kathy continued to stay active later in life and could often be seen walking about town, enjoying the scenery and the people she ran into along the way. She also enjoyed working part time at the Boyden House and Harbor House Inn as a housekeeper. 

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Sheri Puisis; and her granddaughter, Catherine Puisis; four step-daughters and their families; her sister, Carol Massie; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; brothers, Franklin Marshall and Neil Marshall; sister, Sharon Hoffer; sister-in-law, Betty Marshall; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Massie and Henry Hoffer.

The Memorial Service for Kathy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
