Kathleen "Kathy" Marie (Fuller) Garza

Kathleen Marie Garza, age 54 of Spring Lake, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at home. She was born on July 2, 1967 in Grand Haven, MI to the late Richard and Henrietta (Hammond) Fuller.

Kathy graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1986. She then met and married Ruben Garza on July 1, 1989 in Grand Haven.

Kathy worked at Joyful Noise Christian Childcare for 20 years as the head cook, and was a member of Spring Lake Baptist Church for over 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and sewing. Kathy was an excellent cook, and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, going for walks, and taking pictures.

Kathy is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 32 years, Ruben; her daughter, Anna Marie (Trevor) Rose; three sons, Adrian, Andrew (Sammie), and Adam Garza; her four grandchildren, Eli, Desmond, Mateo, and Adelyn Garza; mother-in-law, Jane Garza; brothers, Robert (Mary) Fuller and David Fuller; half-siblings, Debbie (Denny) Jones, Val Nelson, Julie (Jeremy) Seibert, and Tom Nelson; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Anita Cross; and father-in-law, Ramon Garza.

The Funeral Service for Kathy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Spring Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Bytwerk and Pastor Conner McMakin officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
