Katherine "Kathy" Marie Dreese, age 67, of Muskegon, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at SKLD in Muskegon. She was born on January 16, 1958, in Fremont, MI, to the late Robert and Patty Lou (Marvin) Christner.

Kathy graduated from Grand Haven High School and worked as a CNA in nursing homes for her entire career. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee & BINGO, going on road trips, coloring, reading her Bible, crocheting, and spending time with her family. Kathy was also very good at and loved multiplication tables.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered and missed by her two daughters, Brittany and Shayla Dreese; and her son, Cory Christner; granddaughter, Ridley Roo Halberda; three sisters: Denise (Gary) Noel, Brenda Alpers, and Connie Steele; and her two brothers, Randy Christner and Bobby (Veronica) Christner, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chuck and Gary Lee Christner; and brother-in-law, Fred Alpers.

The Memorial Service for Kathy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Don McGee officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Brittany Dreese c/o Klaassen Family Funeral Home to assist the family with Katherine's final expenses.
