Julia Winter Bitting Fullerton, age 66, of Ferrysburg, MI, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 17, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 18, 1959 in Oakland, CA, to the late Soule Tryon Bitting and Margaret "Peggy" (Lighter) Hutchinson. She married Bob Fullerton on September 6, 1997, in Grand Haven.
Julia graduated from Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois. She grew up in Glenview and spent many summers at her family's cottage on the North Shore of Grand Haven.
Julia was a devoted mother, loving partner, and cherished friend. She worked as the Office Administrator for The Grand Haven Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #925 and spent her life helping others. She was an avid flower gardener, a wise counselor, a fan of history, a fantastic cook, and a lover of family, friends, and travel; in particular, her travels to a family wedding in Spain.
Julia will be remembered for her glowing spirit, strength, generosity, humor, and the loving smile she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed, but her love, strength, and spirit will live on through all of us.
