Judith "Judie" Lynn (Radikopf) Essenyi

Judith “Judie” Lynn Essenyi, age 81, of Spring Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at home. She was born on January 17, 1943, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Harold and Marie (Ott) Radikopf.

Judie graduated from high school and worked as a teller at Chemical Bank in Grand Haven for many years before her retirement. She attended Lakeshore Baptist Church where she enjoyed being involved in their Bible Study group. Judie loved to read and was talented at painting rocks. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Alesha, and going out to lunch with her girlfriends.

Judie is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son, Keith Essenyi of Grand Haven; granddaughter, Alesha Essenyi also of Grand Haven; sister, Cherryl (Jim) Potter; brothers, Brian (Barbara) Radikopf and Mark (Debbie) Radikopf; sister-in-law, Marilyn Radikopf; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kris Essenyi in 2007; and her brothers, Ron Radikopf and Harold Radikopf, Jr.

The Memorial Service for Judie will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Muri officiating. Interment will be next to her son, Kris, at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery.
