Joan Evelyn Wells, age 92, of Grand Haven, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born on June 17, 1932, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Cornelius and Edna (Sikkenga) Wasenmaker. Joan married Aubrey Wells. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2024.  Joan graduated from Grand Haven High School and then Hope College with her degree in Education, and spent her career working as an elementary school teacher for OakRidge Public Schools. Joan will be lovingly remembered and missed by her son, Roger Wells of Spring Lake; her sister, Lynn Groenveldt; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Joan will be held at a later date to be announced.
