Jesse Charles Murdock, age 69, of Nunica, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born on July 13, 1955, in Dallas County, Texas, to James and Annabel (Graham) Murdock. Jesse married Karen Denman on July 27, 2006, in Kalamazoo, MI.
Jesse worked as a long-haul truck driver for Taylor Trucking Company for many years, which he loved. He loved Jesus and was very strong in his faith! Jesse enjoyed painting, playing guitar, and most importantly, spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Jesse will be forever remembered and missed by his wife of 18 years, Karen; his four daughters: Deborah (Michael) Banks, Crystal (Alvaro) Quintero, Mallory (Steve) Ruder, and Erin Denman; his three sons: Jesse Murdock, Jr., Joseph (Freda) Murdock, and Kirk Mosher; his mother, Annabel (Daniel) Olds; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Murdock; and three brothers.
The Funeral Service for Jesse will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at First Reformed Church, with Pastor John Kenny officiating. Full Military Honors will be performed by the VFW Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post # 2326. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Nunica Cemetery.
