Jeffery Todd Olger, age 46 of West Olive (formerly Grand Haven), passed away peacefully with the love of his life, Amy Simonte, by his side on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Hospice of Heartwood Lodge. He was born on September 14, 1975 in Grand Haven, MI to Mark and Cindy (Hall) Olger.
Jeff attended Grand Haven High School and was a life-long resident of the Tri-cities area. He worked as a Chef for many years at the Kirby House, Grand Haven.
Jeff was a very talented artist with a unique eye for detail whose passion was painting and drawing. He was best known to others as a very loving, caring man who gave the best hugs on earth! Jeff enjoyed watching baseball, and was an especially big fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards and vintage toys.
Jeff will be forever remembered and missed by his parents, Mark and Cindy Olger of Grand Haven; his best friend, Amy Simonte of Grand Haven; sister, Amy Middleton; and his three brothers, Josh (Tara) Olger, Jon Olger, and Rob (Sara) Olger. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and his many close friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held at a later date to be announced by Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Necrotizing Fasciitis Foundation.
