Jeanette Marie (Lemke) Pippel

Jeanette Marie Pippel, age 64, of Grand Haven, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Corewell Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids. She was born on November 21, 1960, in Grand Haven, to Alan and Edith Lemke. Jeanette married Edward "Ed" Pippel on August 8, 1981, in Grand Haven.

Jeanette graduated from Grand Haven High School and then Jordan College, where she received her associate's degree. Jeanette was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, where she fostered many dear friendships and beloved community.

Jeanette loved reading and was a book club member who loved animals and enjoyed walking, camping, and volunteering in many capacities. Family was most important to Jeanette, and she cherished any time spent with them.

Jeanette will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 43 years, Ed; two daughters, Ashleigh Pippel of Grand Haven and Samantha (Todd) Munger of Jenison; her son, Justin Pippel (Maddy Knutson) of Traverse City; mother, Edith Lemke; sisters, Kathy (Steve) Spink and Linda (Dale) Zimmerman; her brother, Eric (Melissa) Lemke; sisters-in-law, Jackie (Bob) Berg and Joyce (Nick) Ruiter; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alan.

The Memorial Service for Jeanette will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Jared C. Cramer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
