Janet K. (Aleshire) Davis

Janet K. Davis, age 84, of Grand Haven, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Grand Pines Assisted Living. She was born on June 18, 1940, in Lansing, MI, to the late Malcolm and Lucille (Beasore) Aleshire. Janet married Ronald K. Davis on August 27, 1960 in Lansing, MI. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2020, after 59 years of marriage.

Janet graduated from high school and went on to work in sales for Gardner-Denver, and later, worked for State Farm Insurance of Muskegon, VanderMolen Insurance, and Lloyd Warners.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Spring Lake where she was involved in the choir and led the lady's bible study. Through the church, Janet also served as church treasurer, chairwoman of the deaconess committee, and AWANA program secretary. When Janet was not busy serving her church, she enjoyed being outdoors golfing, camping, gardening, and walking.

Janet will be lovingly remembered and missed by her two sons, Scott (Nadene) Davis of Holland and Steve (Theresa) Davis of Grand Haven; grandchildren: Sydney, Tatum, Brogan, Fin, and Beckett Davis; two brothers-in-law, Gary (Norma) Davis and Leon (Sue) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Lake Forest Cemetery next to her husband, Ron.
