James "Jim" Richard Sandwick, age 81, of Holland, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Holland, Michigan. He was born on March 25, 1944, in Muskegon, MI, to Richard and Mildred (Schultz) Sandwick.
Jim graduated from North Muskegon High School, Class of 1962. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the US Air Force from 1962 to 1966, during the Vietnam War Era. Jim married Mary Fodrocy on May 6, 1967, in Muskegon, MI, and spent his career working as an engineer in manufacturing until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; his daughter, Susan Brummel; son, Richard (Darbie) Sandwick; four grandsons: Marshal (Christen-Marie) Brummel, Carson Sandwick, Ty Sandwick, and Roman Brummel; his great-granddaughter, Thérèse-Marie Brummel; brother, Thomas Sandwick; sisters, JoEllen Sandwick and Barbara (Larry) Jackson; and brother in-law, George (Jeanne) Fodrocy.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
