James Edward Green

James Edward Green, age 71, passed away on June 28, 2025, at home. James was born on September 21, 1953, in Muskegon, MI to the late Ken and Mary (Doering) Green.

Jim married the love of his life, Beverly Clark, on June 1, 1995, in Grand Haven and they cherished 30 years of marriage. Jim had a deep love for sports and games throughout his life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and later spent many hours bowling and shooting pool with friends and family. A loyal fan of the Detroit Tigers, he rarely missed a game, and he also took great enjoyment in watching professional wrestling. Jim's passion for these pastimes reflected his fun-loving spirit and the joy he found in both competition and friendship.

Jim is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Jody Tharp and James Green, II; siblings-in-law, Theresa Heyn, Karen Dempsey, and Robert Clark; and several nieces & nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Green; and sister, Chris Zalsman.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, no services will be held. Interment will be at Robinson Township Cemetery.
