Harold Clover

Harold William Clover, age 81 of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at a local care facility. He was born on June 13, 1939 in Grand Haven, MI to the late Harold William and Kathleen (Wenzel) Clover, Sr. Harold married Susan Chittenden on October 21, 1967 in Spring Lake, MI.

Harold graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1957 and worked at Harbor Industries for 43 years before his retirement in 2005. He was a past member of the Ottawa Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, camping, and deer hunting.

Harold is remembered and missed by his wife of 53 years, Susan Clover of Grand Haven; his daughter, Victoria Harper; and five sons: Harold Clover III (Kay Reid), Jason (Jennifer) Clover, Ronald (Patti) Clover, Dean (Anna) Clover, Michael (Christine)Clover; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy Monk; and sisters-in-law, Mary Trimble, Jo Connor, and Linda Chittenden.

He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Gene Connor and Bill Trimble.

In accordance with Harold’s wishes, no services will be held.
