Gail Nannette (Denning) Gjestrum

Gail Nannette Gjestrum, age 57 of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at a local care facility. She was afflicted with health issues for many years, yet her passing was unexpected. Gail will be missed and now she is free. She was born on July 12, 1962 in Grand Haven, MI to James and Nancy (Swiftney) Denning. Gail married Brent Gjestrum on July 2, 1983 in West Olive. 

Gail was employed at Grand Haven Public Schools and Pfaff Pharmacy for many years. She was a member of West Olive Christian Reformed Church and loved to play softball and be with her dog, Meeka. 

Gail is survived by her husband, Brent; son, Ryan; her mother, Nancy Denning; and three brothers, Jack (Sonja) Denning, Craig (Kathy) Denning and Jeffrey (Maria) Denning; nephews, Hunter and Connor; and niece, Madelyn Gail. She was preceded in death by her father, James “Jim” Denning in 1991. May God, His Angels and Saints, along with her Dad; welcome Gail into Paradise.

Due to concerns regarding COVID-19 and social distancing, a Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Lake Forest Cemetery with Pastor Leonard Troast officiating.
