Edward Molenda, Jr.

Edward Molenda, Jr., age 73 of Grand Haven, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at a local care facility in Spring Lake, MI. He was born on July 14, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late Edward and Buryle (Maynard) Molenda, Sr.

After his graduation from high school, Ed went on to earn his degree in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University. He retired from his career as an Economic Analyst for the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture, and enjoyed writing and making music, painting, and playing golf and chess.

Ed is survived by his son, John Paul (Yuan Li) Molenda; grandson, Oscar Li Molenda; and his sister, Mary Misiak. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mark and James Molenda.

A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
