Edith "Edie" Joann (Ohlendorf) Eller

Edith "Edie" Joann Eller, age 75, of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1949, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Bert and Doris (Modderman) Ohlendorf. Edie married Michael Eller on February 11, 1977, in Grand Haven.

Edie grew up in the Tri-Cities area, and graduated from Spring Lake High School, Class of 1968. She enjoyed gardening and knitting and was a huge Green Bay Packers Football fan. She and her husband, Mike, took great pride in building their own greenhouse, which Edie planted and maintained.

Edith will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 48 years, Mike; two daughters, Kris (Andy) Beechnau of Indiana and Tracy Veltkamp of Newaygo; son, Marc Aldred; four grandchildren: Lynsey and Zack DeWeerdt, Joshua Aldred, and Tyler Veltkamp; brother, Larry (Helena) Ohlendorf; sister-in-law, Sherry Dutcher; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Terry "T.J." Aldred (2022); son-in-law, Jeff Veltkamp (2024); and her sister, Donna Rowe (2021).

A Celebration of Life for Edie will be held at a later date to be announced.
