Dr. Charles J. Zickus, III

Dr. Charles J. Zickus, III, age 69 of Byron Center, MI lost his battle with Parkinson’s disease on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was born on December 5, 1952 in Grand Rapids, MI, to Charles J. and Irene (Reinke) Zickus.

Upon graduation from High School, Charles went on to college to earn his Registered Nurse and Physician Assistant degree, obtaining his Internal Medicine degree as a Doctor in 1995. Dr. Charlie served at many hospitals including Metro, Spectrum, Hackley Select, North Ottawa, and Mercy.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Charles (Meegan) Zickus, IV of Allendale; his three grandchildren, Quinn, Reeve, and Emarie; his mother, Irene Schneider; mother-in-law, Pat Wolffis; step-children, Tara (Mike) Wright and Jenna (Carson) Crook; four step-grandchildren, Dexter, Sophia, & Addison Wright, and Oliver Crook; along with three step-brothers-in-law and their families. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Zickus; and father-in-law, Jerry Wolffis. 

A private family Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held at a later date.
