Donald Alan Bosch

Donald Alan Bosch, age 58 of Robinson Township, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at home. He was born on December 5, 1965, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Jerry and Linda (Draper) Bosch. Don married Janice Huffman on November 9, 1996 in Spring Lake.

Don graduated from Grand Haven High School and went on to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Throughout the years, Don was employed with P&V Antenna, Mid State Utilities, and White Directional Drilling. He was most recently employed at Staytrue Construction and Adam Baker Masonry as a brick tender.

Don faithfully attended the Annual Cars for Cancer Car Show every year since 2015. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a diehard Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan. Don also enjoyed reading his monthly popular mechanics, listening to music, tinkering in his garage, and being outdoors maintaining the lawn on his John Deere. He was especially known for his ability to name any song he heard being played and would ask you to name that tune as the song started. Don loved to make people laugh, and he could “shake” his eyes and talk like Donald Duck.

You could always count on Don to find value in things that others might discard, he was able to find purpose in just about anything.

Don is remembered and missed by his beloved wife of 27 years, Janice; and their two children, Bailey and Jared Bosch (Nowayme Cook); grandson, Cayde Bosch; sister, Nancy (Mike) Brown; niece and nephew, Cambell and Hudson Brown; uncle Merle and Ginny Bosch of Shelby, MI, and aunt, Judy Draper of Spring Lake; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and several cousins.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; and uncle, Bill Draper.

A Memorial Visitation for Don will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
