Dennis Alan Becklin

Dennis Alan Becklin, age 76, of Twin Lake, passed away at home on Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born on January 11, 1948, in Muskegon, MI, to the late Eugene and Bertha (Simmerman) Becklin. Dennis married Suzette Hall on July 12, 1969, in Muskegon, MI. She preceded him in death on October 23, 1997, after 28 years of marriage.

Dennis graduated from Ravenna High School, Class of 1966. He obtained his associates degree and spent his working life as Pattern Maker and Tool & Die Maker until his retirement. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and tending to his garden.

He also loved spending time with his family and always put them first. In his later years, Dennis enjoyed going out to breakfast with family, weekly visits to his aunt’s house, and lots of wonderful conversations with his kids and grandkids.

Dennis will be forever remembered and missed by his two daughters, Kristin Becklin and Staci (Scott) Klukos; son, Brent (Jorie) Becklin; eight grandchildren: Shaina, Derek, Austin, Connor, Emma, Bailey, Peyton, and Graham; four great-grandchildren: Aubree, Alaina, Charlie, and Carter; significant other, Patricia VanderWerff; brother, Gene Becklin; sister-in-law, Kelly Crocker; and brothers-in-law, Chuck (Sharon) Hall and Tim (Kathy) Hall.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Laurie Jablonski and Pat Becklin; and brother-in-law, Ken Crocker.

A Memorial Visitation for Dennis will be held on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.

A private family Graveside Service will take place at Robinson Township Cemetery.
