David E. Kots

David E. Kots, age 83 of Grand Haven, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at a local care facility. He was born on June 18, 1935 to the late George and Deane (Klooster) Kots in Berea, KY. David was a member of Trinity Reformed Church of Grand Haven, and was a teacher for many years overseas, in California, Minneapolis, and Spring Lake.

He will be missed by his daughter, Dr. La Vonne (Dr. Markus Bittl) Kots of Switzerland; son, Fritz (Dr. Uli Flach) Kots, and their children, Annika and Paul, all of Augsburg, Germany; and sister, Lee Trowbridge of Grand Haven. David was preceded in death by brothers, Warren and Roger.

The Memorial Service for David will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bremmer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Grove Cemetery.
