David M. Koster

David M. Koster, age 72 of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at home. He was born on August 13, 1947 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Martin and Ruth Koster. David married Sheila Deal on May 25, 1995 in Grand Haven.

David worked at Grand Haven Public Schools for over 20 years doing maintenance and previously owned an antique store. He enjoyed reading, gardening, camping, and watching sports; namely football, basketball, and hockey. David also collected rocks, marble, and brass as a hobby.

He will be remembered and missed by his wife of 25 years, Sheila; daughter, Shannon (Miguel) Ochoa; two sons, Shawn and Charles Fetterhoff; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark (Debbie) Koster; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private family services will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
