Danielle "Dana" Sue (Balangero) Bull

Danielle “Dana” Sue (Balangero) Bull, age 35 of Grand Haven (Robinson Township), passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 6, 2021 at home. She was born on June 26, 1986 in Grand Rapids, MI to Daniel Webster Carr III and Glenda (Grossenbacher) Carr. Dana married Walter Bull on May 6, 2021 in Grand Haven.

Dana graduated from Coopersville High School, Class of 2004. She worked as a bartender and server for several local restaurants over the years including Snug Harbor, the Kirby House, the Pavilion, and Burger Theory. Dana enjoyed the arts, crafting, and making jewelry. She also enjoyed working on puzzles, playing video games, kayaking, and going rock hunting.

Dana is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Walter Bull of Grand Haven; her two children, Lilly Ann Balangero and Bryce Balangero, both of Grand Haven; her two step-children, Alex and Weston Bull also of Grand Haven; her mother, Glenda Lewis of Grand Rapids; sister, Nicky Carr of Spring Lake; sisters-in-law, Regena Bull of West Olive and Rebecca (Matthew) Timmer of Grand Haven; her aunt, Jodie Grossenbacher; niece and nephew, Tykeisha Miller and Burton Nise; as well as several extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Webster Carr III; her beloved grandparents with whom she was very close to, Glen and Susie Grossenbacher; her father-in-law, Thomas Bull; and mother-in-law, Ruth Bull.

The Funeral Service for Dana will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
