Daniel "Dan" L. Haynes

Daniel Lee Haynes, age 67 of Grand Haven (and Irons, MI), passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was born on March 21, 1954 in South Haven, MI to Willie and Betty (Connors) Haynes.

Dan spent his life-long career working as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend his time at his property up north in Irons, which was his serenity. He enjoyed the good things in life; hunting, being in the woods, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dan is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Jan Neeley of Irons, MI; his son, Eric Haynes of Allendale; his daughter, Angie Haynes of Grand Haven; his two grandsons, Devon Haynes and Davis Payne; his father, Willie Haynes; two brothers, Keith "Skip" Haynes and Tim Haynes; his former wife and mother of his children, Barb (Novak) Haynes; two step-daughters; and several good friends & extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Haynes.

A Celebration of Dan's life will take place at a later date to be announced.
