Cynthia "Cindy" Rae (Bronson) Leonard

Cynthia Rae Leonard, age 72 of Grand Haven, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at home. She was born on May 30, 1948 in Grand Haven, MI to the late Douglas and Evelyn (Franks) Bronson. Cindy married David Leonard on September 30, 1966 in Grand Haven.

Cindy graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1966, and was a lifelong resident on Grand Haven. She worked at North Ottawa Community Hospital for many years, doing clerical work. Cindy was also a Sunday School teacher, and enjoyed knitting and sewing. She also loved to travel and held on to special memories during her travels to Gulf Shores, AL for family vacations. Cindy always held her family close to her heart, especially her kids and grandkids.

Cindy is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 54 years, David; her daughter, Lisa (Tom) Farkas of Grand Haven; her two sons, David (Kim) Leonard of Holland, MI and Ryan Leonard of Detroit, MI; six beloved grandchildren, T.J., Elise, Gabi, Alexis, Sydni, and Brooke; her sister, Jodi (Fred) Holland of Grand Rapids; and three brothers, Dennis (Connie) Bronson of Spring Lake, Don (Marcia) Bronson of Muskegon, and David Bronson of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Jim, Dale, and Doug Bronson.

The Funeral Service for Cindy will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian R. Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Broadway Baptist Church (Muskegon) or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
