Charlotte M. (Probst) Miles

Charlotte M. Miles, age 85 of West Olive, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at a local care facility. She was born on November 3, 1937 in Muskegon, MI to the late Karl and Harriet (Snyder) Probst. Charlotte married Lester Miles, Jr. on November 26, 1955, and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1984, after 28 years of happy marriage.

Charlotte graduated from Muskegon High School and worked as a housekeeper for North Ottawa Community Hospital for several years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds, going to garage sales, traveling, and crocheting. She especially liked bird-watching and spending time with her family.

Charlotte is lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Brenda (Michael) Cook; three sons, Brian (Kristy) Miles, Gary (Lori) Miles, and Timothy (Doris) Miles; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; her son, James Miles; daughter, Cindy Miles; grandson, Michael Miles and granddaughter, Tonia Miles.

The Memorial Service for Charlotte will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Heiler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Olive Township Cemetery.
