Bonnie Juanita Bringedahl, age 83, of Grand Haven, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. She was born on October 19, 1941, in Muskegon, MI to the late William and Geraldine (Grant) Hill. Bonnie married Allen Bringedahl on December 20, 1974, in Muskegon.
Bonnie attended Whitehall High School, grew up in the Muskegon area, and later moved to Grand Haven. She worked as a caregiver doing in-home care, which she did for several years before her retirement.
Bonnie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was very active helping in the food pantry, serving with the Ladies Aid group, and helping the church serve funeral luncheons. Bonnie was most known for her loving personality and big heart.
She was passionate about serving those in need, often putting the needs of others before her own. Bonnie was genuinely kind and very accepting of all people and had an "open door" policy in her home; if anyone needed anything, they knew they could go to Bonnie for help. She was the glue that held the family together and she loved nothing more than entertaining and cooking for her family, especially for family gatherings, birthdays, and holidays.
Bonnie loved to go to the salon and get her hair done, and in her younger years, she enjoyed dancing the two-step with Allen, which she often turned into a 5-step to keep it interesting.
Bonnie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 50 years, Allen; two children, Darcie and Greg Du Jardine; five beloved grandchildren: Catrina, Krysta, and Kayle Young, Richard Zalsman, and Danielle DeVerney; three sisters: Judi (Stan) McCarthy, Peggy and Lisa Hill; and brother, William (Deb) Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda Du Jardine; sister, Betty Gay; and brother, Robert Hill.
The Memorial Service for Bonnie will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Aaron Vergin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
