Angeline (D’Alessandro) Sloumski

Angeline Sloumski, age 96 of Spring Lake, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at a local care facility. She was born on April 12, 1925 in Trenton, MI to the late Cammillo and Maria (Flamminia) D’Alessandro. Angeline married Joseph C. Sloumski on May 21, 1957 in Wyandotte, MI. He preceded her in death on September 3, 1989 after 32 years of marriage.

Angeline grew up and attended school in Wyandotte, working as an Operator for Michigan Bell for several years before moving to the Tri-Cities area in 2017. She was a member of St. Patrick-St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and enjoyed dancing, music, cooking, and going to the symphony.

Angeline will be lovingly remembered and missed by her son, Michael (Suzanne) Sloumski; and grandson, Joseph (Kelsey) Sloumski, all of Grand Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband; and four brothers: Nick, Rocky, Albert, and Tony D’Alessandro.

The Memorial Mass for Angeline will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Patrick-St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, with Fr. Norm Droski officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Masks and Social Distancing will be required. Interment will be at Michigan Memorial Park at a later date.
