Angela Antonia Eileen (Ortiz) Glaser

Angela Antonia Eileen Glaser, age 54 of Kentwood (formerly Grand Haven), passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Mercy Health St Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born on January 22, 1967 in Muskegon, MI to Antonio and Sandra (Huffman) Ortiz. 

Angie graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1985, and began working at Howmet in Whitehall, followed by several jobs working as a receptionist. She married Jeff Glaser on September 15, 1990 in Muskegon, and they celebrated the birth of their children on January 15, 1994 and June 30, 1996, after which Angie began her career as a homemaker. She also worked as a model for a few years for Unique Models & Talent.

Angie was a member of Resurrection Life Church of Grandville, and she loved listening to Praise & Worship music. Growing up in Grand Haven, Angie enjoyed spending time at the beach and out on the water boating. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening, traveling, attending her son’s sporting events, and spending time with her dog, Sierra. Angie was a former cheerleader, and also spent some time doing gymnastics while in school.

Angie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 31 years, Jeff; her two sons, Seth (Lindsey) Glaser and Noah Glaser; her mother, Sandi (Vern) Cole, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jay and Willetta Glaser; her brother, Scott (Amy) Cole; and sister, Kelly Ehlers; step-sisters, Aileen (Mike) Santose and Karen (Dennis) Flynn; step-brothers, Anthony Ortiz and Mark (Tara) Ortiz; brother-in-law, Randy (Chris) Glaser; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Ortiz.

The Funeral Service for Angie will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Kentwood.
