Alethea Kaye Davis

Alethea Kaye Davis, age 72 of Grand Haven, formerly of Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on March 2, 1948 in Dallas, TX to the late R.B. and Joy Paniotta (Baldwin) Davis.

Alethea graduated from North Dallas High School and went on to become an LPN, working several years for Doctors Hospital in Dallas, TX. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dallas, TX.

Alethea recently moved to Grand Haven and was an animal lover who especially adored her feline companions, “Honey” and “Oliver,” and her canine companion, “Brandi.”

She was interested in national and local politics and enjoyed having political conversations with people in her life. Alethea was a Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed traveling to Red River, NM, and the Las Vegas casinos to play the slot machines.

Alethea is lovingly remembered by her sister, Zoe Dias of San Jose, CA; her niece and nephew, Michele Guel and Michael Crabb, both of San Jose, CA; and close friend, Sue Snellenberger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Davis.

Private family services will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Harbor Humane Society.
