Theresa Marie (Vrablic) Richert

Theresa Marie Richert, age 88 of Grand Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born on January 8, 1930 in Muskegon to Frank and Mary (Beer) Vrablic Sr.  

Theresa was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She loved to crochet, bake, and spend time with her family and many friends.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ora W. Richert, Jr.; daughters, Lora Lee (Jerry) Melcher of Grand Haven, Rhonda Doerr of Grand Haven, Renee (Scott) Narrol of Glencoe, IL; son, Robyn (Donna) Richert of Spring Lake; sister, Helen Langlois; brother, Anthony (Carol) Vrablic; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Rodney; sisters, Margaret Vrablic, Mary Ann (William) Farkas, Catherine (Forrest) Snyder, Pauline (Leland) Glover, Betty (Hale) Gee; brothers, Frank (Betty) Vrablic, Jr. and Michael (Nancy) Vrablic; and granddaughter, Nora Marie Doerr.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grand Haven.  Visitation will be on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Interment will be at Grand Haven Twp. Lakeshore Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
