Richard L. DeBoer

Richard L. DeBoer, age 96, of Muskegon MI, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at a local care facility. Richard was born August 2, 1922 to the late Peter & Flora (Dykstra) DeBoer in Albia, Iowa. Richard married Ruth Fry on August 11, 1945 in Chicago. She passed away July 14, 2013. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Richard worked at Republic Flow Meter Company, Rockwell Research and Development, and Triton College as a maintenance supervisor. He is lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews, including Gail and Rog Smant. He was preceded in death by his wife, June and daughter, Susan.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Trinity Memorial Garden in New Port Richie, Florida.
