Nancy L. Fuller, age 88 of Grand Haven, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Grand Pines Assisted Living. She was born October 12, 1930 in Grand Haven to the late George and Nellie (Spielman) Conant. Nancy married the love of her life, Richard Fuller Sr. on September 6, 1947 in Grand Haven.
She was a life-long resident of Grand Haven, and was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. Nancy was a former member of First Presbyterian Church. She worked for Eagle Ottawa Leather for 17 years. She then worked for Grand Haven Public Schools for 15 years as a Playground Supervisor. Family was the most important thing to Nancy, and she enjoyed spending quality time with them by having picnics and camping with them. She had the incredible ability to make every person she met feel special and that they mattered to her. Nancy also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and board games, and she loved animals of all kinds.
Nancy will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 71 years, Richard; daughter, Mary Jo (Dan) Phipps of Grand Haven; sons, Rick Fuller Jr., and Chuck (Kim) Fuller all of Grand Haven; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Doreen Corbett of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, George Conant of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Gladys Kieft, Frances Kopps, Geraldine Holman, Georgia Jasney, Thelma Hoekwater, Gordon Conant, Doris Curtis, and Wilma Kieft.
The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Kelvin Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
