Mary D. (Pekich) Kozicki, age 98 of Grand Haven, passed away Friday, April 25, 2018 surrounded by family. Mary was born on October 24, 1919 in Livingston, ILL. On September 5, 1938 she married Thaddeus Kozicki. After celebrating 70 years of marriage, he passed away on September 8, 2008. Mary is a longtime member of St. Patrick's-St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and was a great cook who enjoyed crocheting, cribbage, and spending time with her family. She was also active in Four Pointes Senior Center for many years. Mary is survived by her four children: Thaddeus (Fran) Kozicki Jr., Shirley Kozicki, David (Michele) Kozicki, and Joan (Gary) Revers; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and sisters-in law, Ruth Bulthouse, Dorothy Bethke, and Virginia Pekich. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Emery, Barb Theilman; and four brothers, Peter, Steve, Tom, and John Pekich. According to Mary's wishes there will be no visitation or public funeral service. Interment will take place at Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
