Marilyn Jane Grech

Mrs. Marilyn Jane Grech, age 69, of Ludington passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Grand Haven. She was born on November 19, 1948 in Pontiac, MI to Gordon and Jeanette (Pattan) Gogswell. Marilyn married John Grech on September 1, 1979 in Novi, MI. She was an executive secretary for Michigan Bell (now AT&T). Marilyn attended Lakeside Christian Reformed Church, loved gardening, traveling to Europe, was a wonderful seamstress, was involved in the Arts, but mostly loved to be with her children. She is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, Rebecca Jane Grech of Clearwater, FL., and John Carl Grech and his Fiance, Dana Erley of Pentwater; her mother Jeanette Cogswell of Holland, MI.; sister, Anne (Philip) Fitch of Jackson; and brother, David (Rachel) Cogswell of Arvada, CO. The Memorial Service for Marilyn will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Community Church in Ludington, with Pastors Brett Spalding and Cindy de Jonge officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
