Lucinda "Cindy" Kay Veihl

Lucinda “Cindy” Kay Veihl, age 65 of Grand Haven, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1953 in Grand Haven to Wesley and Beverly (Ryan) Parsons.

Cindy was a life-long resident of Grand Haven, and she knew many people from her 17 years of working at North Ottawa Community Hospital for surgery set-up. She loved animals, and was an avid reader who liked to complete word search puzzles. In her spare time, Cindy also enjoyed shopping, and watching television.

Cindy will be lovingly remembered and missed by her parents, Wesley and Beverly Parsons of Grand Haven; sisters, Gloria Elenbaas and Vicki Purdy, both of Grand Haven; brother, Gordon (Victoria) Parsons of Grand Haven; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

According to Cindy’s wishes, no services will be held. The family requests Memorial Contributions in Cindy’s memory be given to Harbor Humane Society.
