So sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. She worked in maintenance at White Pines when I worked in the office there. She was always helpful and cheery and kind. My sympathy to the family.

Heidi,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful friend not just to my family, but especially to my mom. My mom would say that Loretta was one of her best friends. Talk everyday, and ride our bikes to each other's houses. I'm so sorry that I just heard of this news today. It will get easier, she will always be with you. I know everyone says that, but I truly believe it, my mom is with me everyday. My mom and your mom can once again continue having coffee together.. but no more walking or biking to each other's houses..
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers

It was such a pleasure getting to know Loretta during her visits with us at the salon. Heidi would make mother/daughter appointments and Loretta would just beam a big smile when her hair was done. She was such a dear, sweet lady and she will be missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.

Loretta was a dear friend at Little Black Lake Church when we were teens. Lysle even dated Loretta a while and after knowing her some time was surprised to discover she had only one arm. She could do amazing things for any person with one arm. Such a sweet lady and we have only very fond memories of her laugh and happy personality. She knew and loved the Lord and will make heaven richer by her presence. God bless each of you who mourn. May you be comforted by the God of all comfort. Let Loretta's life be a model to pattern for your life in so many ways.

Loretta and I attended Ferrysberg grade school from 5th through 8th grade and then went on to Grand Haven High School. She was one of the kindest people who I have ever known. At reunions, we would sit and review our past teachers and friends and confer about who was still living!!
Her smile was infectious! She never said an unkind word about anyone although we did gossip a little. I am sure that she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
My love and blessings to all of you,
Grace Ann (nee Smith) Weiler

Thinking of the family during this difficult time. Loretta was an old neighbor of ours and it was always such a joy to run into her and catch up. Heaven has surely gained an angel!

I am so sorry about your mom. She was a very special friend to me. I will remember all the fun times we four, your mom, Priscilla, Sylvia and I would spent together having coffee or during the winter playing games. We would say we were the "Golden Girls." She would always talk about you kids and then her babes, Nicholas and Alex. We will sure miss the good times talking over coffee at McDonald's. There is no words that can explain my loss of a very dear friend. May God be with all of you as you are going through this rough time. My prayers and sympathy goes out to each of you.
