Larry E. Deiter

Larry E. Deiter, age 71, of Grand Haven passed away September 10, 2017. He was born January 7, 1946 in Escanaba, MI to the late Edwin and Lucille (LaPalm) Deiter. Larry married Linda Russell on June 18, 1966 in the Upper Peninsula. He was employed at Harnischfeger Industries & Lithibar Inc.of Holland as a master welder and crane operator. Larry was a member of the American Legion, Charles A. Conklin, Post #28. He loved to hunt, fish, attend car shows and especially enjoyed his 1972 Corvette and supporting the Green Bay Packers. Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; daughters, Tammy (Cliff) Polack of West Olive & Carrie (Dave) Achterhoff of Twin Lake; 4 Grandchildren & 6 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Judy (Juan) Santiago; brothers, Sonny (Kathy) Frappier, Jimmy (Lorrie) Deiter & Randy Deiter; brother-in law, Jerry Moras & best friend/brother-in-law, Billy Flath. He was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Thomma, Deloris Moras, Patsie  Flath & brother, Roger Deiter. A private family service will be held at a later date.
