Kay Frances Cech

Kay Frances Cech, age 75 of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Sanctuary at the Shore. She was born on March 14, 1943 to the late Joseph and Anna (Chochola) Cech in Grand Haven, MI. Kay worked for Shape Corp. for many years as a heavy equipment operator. She loved motorcycles, dogs, socializing with friends, and playing cards.

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her nieces: Lorie (Gary) Miles of Grand Haven, Bridget (Carl) Apple of Texas, Amie (Al) Bursley of Bangor, ME; nephew, Joe (Vickie) Cech of Grand Haven; sister, JoAnne (Butch) Rose of Grand Haven; and many close friends. Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Cech.

A Celebration of Life for Kay will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. Interment will be at Grand Haven Township Historic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Humane Society.
