Me G was a good man, I unfortunately met him while being incarcerated at the women's facility, but he was a very stand up and solid officer, nothing but good from him, great smile and great laugh. Will be missed by many! RiP G

I was G's gate officer at WHV. After a little hazing and the realization that I wasnt going anywhere G gave in and took me under his wing. Lot's of people traversed his gate and we're met with a smile or a half joking half threat of being tasted if they walked through his gate and talked to me again. I remember how much of a penny pincher he was and would giggle about him using coupons all the time but had 3 pay checks that were not cashed in his pocket. He had a great sense of humor and made it fun to go to work. I learned alot from Officer Gonzales and was happy to call him my friend. You will be missed G!

My prayers go out for all the family. It's hard to believe your time here is done but, may God hold you tight in his loving arms. It seems like yesterday when we all went to Philips. You will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear this news. Gonzo was a co-worker of mine at HVM and was a very decent, funny, hard working man. Visited him when he was at St. Joe's Hospital a couple years back. May God comfort and bless you family. The world needs more people like him.
