Jennifer Marie (Leatherman) Gesiakowski

Jennifer Marie Gesiakowski, age 45 of Spring Lake passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. Jennifer was born October 20, 1972 to Douglas and Pamela (Szymczak) Leatherman in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married Edward Gesiakowski on August 7, 2005 in Spring Lake. Jennifer was a teacher who loved teaching, reading, and being a mom to her five children. She was a member of Lakeshore Fellowship Church of Spring Lake. Jennifer loved watching hockey, namely, the Detroit Red Wings, and was a huge U of M fan as well. Jennifer is survived by her husband of 12 years, Edward; two daughters, Khali (Nick) Johnston and Dani Gesiakowski; three sons, Ryan (Ann) Gesiakowski, Chase Gesiakowski, and Tanner Gesiakowski; six grandchildren; parents, Douglas (Pamela) Leatherman; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Gesiakowski; sister, Mary (Kevin) Shields; brother, Robert (Kristy) Leatherman; brothers-in-law, Bob (Kim) Gesiakowski, Rick Gesiakowski, Blake (Julie) Gesiakowski; sister-in-law, Stacy Gesiakowski; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Gesiakowski. The Funeral Service for Jennifer will be on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeshore Fellowship Church, 16790 Van Wagoner Rd., Spring Lake, with Pastor Chris Boehnke officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery.
