It is with great sadness that Tom and I learned of Jean’s passing. What a lovely, generous, faithful, hardworking woman who loved and respected her husband, George, and was so proud of her four children and each grandchild, always proudly sharing each one’s accomplishment. Jean was fun to be with and had an eager mind to explore, to see the limits of the World. Goodby, my friend, I will always love you. Linda Morton Norton

Dear Family,

Jean was a very special person and will always be remembered for her great kindness and love of people. At Chickadee and Holly, she and Greg always led us to the perfect ornament or Christmas decoration for our home.

When Sid and I registered for our 1998 wedding, Chickadee and Holly set aside ornaments for our wedding guests to purchase. They are always the most beautiful ornaments on our Christmas tree. Besides Christmas ornaments, Chickadee and Holly displayed and sold the first Swarovski jewelry and Michael Simon full-size sweaters to match the Michael Simon Christmas ornaments. Our daughter, daughter-in-law, and 3 granddaughters will each receive a Michael Simon sweater some day. They already have been given several of my favorite Michael Simon ornaments of sweaters, shoes, and purses for their own Christmas trees.

Bless you, Jean. We will miss you!

I always looked so forward to my visit with Jean and Greg. She was a gracious hostess. Such a kind giving person. She will be missed by many.

Prayers and loved to you, Greg.

Greg, and family. I am sorry to hear of the passing of jean. I have known of her since my early days at meijer almost 40 years ago. She was a daily customer. Unfortunately, she and I only got acquainted with each other when she was recovering at sanctuary at the shore.
I enjoyed the time she , Greg, and I had during bingo games. I had been thinking of her recently as a matter of fact. But I wanted you to know I felt she was a grand lady.
