I had the great privilege to work with Sargent DeGram when I worked for the City of Grand Haven, Water Department. Sargent DeGram was a kind and warm person. He was the first to see if you needed anything on the job site when we were working in the streets on a broken water main. He was always pleasant, good natured and kind. His great sense of humor and kindness was passed on to his children, especially Tom DeGram! Sargent DeGram you will be missed by so many of us who had the honor to know you during your time in Grand Haven. Thank you for your service!

Diane and Peggy and all the family. Your Dad was always spoken of fondly by our Dad (George). It seems Dad will be greeting another friend as he passed in April. May it comfort you know that Grand Haven lost another good friend to many....Judy Botbyl

I have a few good memories of Grandpa Delbie, but what I remember most was his laugh. He always had smiling eyes, and when he laughed it was heartfelt. Clearly there wasn't any artificial emotion in him. God speed home.

What a great picture. I haven't seen my uncle in quite some time but that smile is the same smile I remember. A favorite for sure and I look forward to seeing him again someday.:) I wish I could be there to hug everyone. Love and God's Blessings,
Barb

We remember fondly your Dad and Mom. First becoming neighbors in 1959 and they were wonderful neighbors and then friends even after we moved. Your Dad was very special and both your Mom and Dad were so helpful to us when ever we needed anything. He will be missed by you all. But we know he is a peace now. Prayers to you all. Rog and Barb

Worked with Delbie at GHPD before I joined the State Police. He was always fun to work with. He and I made many a bullet in the basement of the old police dept. This was so that the dept could go to Mulligans Hollow for qualification. Old fashioned way to save money. Delbie could fix most anything but was really good at electrical stuff.
Good memories, will miss him. Sympathy to the family.
