David Henry Moll, age 80 of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1938 in Lansing, MI to the late Henry Paul and Marie E. (Moberg) Moll. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1958, during the Korean War. David married Myrna Faye Bergman on June 18, 1960 in Finley, North Dakota and they were married for 58 years.
David worked as a truck driver for Louis Padnos for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and bike riding in his spare time. David also liked spending time up north at the family cottage, watching movies, and listening to the radio; he especially loved listening to Elvis, and enjoyed old country music.
David will be fondly remembered and missed by his loving wife, Myrna; daughters, Kimberly Bishop and Kristi (Trent) Everett; sons, Michael (Julie) Moll, Mark Moll, and Matthew Moll; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Darren Moll; and brother, Tom Moll.
The Memorial Service for David will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private graveside service will take place at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. Full Military Rites will be performed by the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28.
