Daniel Owen Fett

Daniel Owen Fett, age 72 of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his home. Dan was born July 30, 1947 to Owen and Helen (Juhas) Fett in Muskegon. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Dan married Debbie Botbyl on August 15, 1970 and celebrated 49 years of marriage.

During their marriage, they had two beautiful kids, Daniel Richard Fett (Danny) and Jacqueline A. Fett (Kruse). He was blessed with a grandchild, Revel Xavior Kruse born October 24th, 2015 to his daughter Jacqueline and her husband Jay Kruse.

Dan enjoyed hobbies such as ham radio, and tinkering with cars and stereo equipment while listening to his favorite hits from the 80’s.

Along with his wife, children, and grandchild, Dan will be greatly missed by his brothers, Greg (Cynthia) Fett and Brad (Cheri) Fett; mother-in-law, Marijean Botbyl; sister-in-law, Judy Klumpel; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny; and his parents.

The Memorial Service for Dan will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Matt Schmidt officiating. Visitation will take place following the service. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
