Cynthia Jo (Crickett) Watkins

Cynthia Jo Watkins, age 61 of Nunica, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at home. She was born on December 6, 1956 to Joseph and Carol (Wisner) Crickett in Sioux City, Iowa. Cindy married Rick Watkins on June 5, 1976 in Sioux City, and they were married for 41 years before her passing.

Family was very important to Cindy, and she loved spending time with them, her three grandchildren, and her friends. She loved doing arts and crafts, going camping, and cooking for her family. She had a passion for animals, and loved taking care of her farm animals.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Rick Watkins; sons, Joseph (Angi) Watkins, Jamie Watkins, and Jessie (Kaitlin) Watkins, all of Nunica; grandchildren, Tyler, Codi, and Alyssa; father, Joseph; sisters, Cathy (Rex) Hahn of Omaha, Nebraska, Lori Crickett of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kelly (Les) Wegter of Muscatine, Iowa; brother-in-law, Dennis (Evie) Watkins of Phoenix, Arizona; and sister-in-law, Tracy Watkins of Sioux City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Carol in 2012.

The Memorial Service for Cindy will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of donor’s choice.
