Dear Ellen,
I'm soo sorry. Chuck was an amazing man. I can't think of him without smiling because he was such a kind man with a tender heart who always wanted to help others. I always will think of him as a friend I could turn to when I had questions weather it was a Rotary raffle, convention, or soo many other fund raising projects he was involved with. He was such a calm, patient and always kind man. He will be missed by soo many people and his community. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Good bye and God Bless Chuck to someone who was the epitome of what Rotary is all about. You truly were the shining example of service above self and we were lucky to have had someone of your caliber in our midst. May God hold your family in the palm of his hand in this their hour of need .

Rotary has a 4-way test to define what "the core" of a Rotarian is. In Grand Haven, we didn't need the 4-way test to tell us how a Rotarian should go through life because all we had to do was look at Chuck. Chuck was the very definition of what a "Rotarian" should be!

We have lost a great friend and Rotary has lost a great champion!

My condolences.

Chuck - I don't know why I thought of you a few moments ago but I just Googled your name to see where you ended up since we left Motorola.
I never expected to read this. We worked hard in Plantation & we had great times.

My deepest sympathy to your family in their time of sorrow.
