Barbara Lynn Oehrli

Barbara Lynn Oehrli, age 55 of Grand Haven, passed away at home on July 17, 2019. She was born on March 30, 1964 in Muskegon, MI to Richard and Elaine (Smith) Oehrli. 

Barb was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and then received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Ferris State University. She was employed for many years with the State of Michigan as a case worker for Michigan Works. Barb was an animal lover who enjoyed spending time with her dogs, and enjoyed reading, shopping, boating, and going to the beach. She also enjoyed listening music. 

Barb will be lovingly missed and remembered by her father, Richard; three sisters, Kristen (Eric) Ray of Howell, Sandra (Robert) Stephans of Whitehall, and Kari Oehrli of Grand Haven; aunt, Jan Schiller; uncle, Gordon Smith; and eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Oehrli in 2009. 

A private graveside service was held at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Barb can be made to the Harbor Humane Society.
