Janice Kay (Russell) Hardy

Janice Kay Hardy, age 71 of Spring Lake, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at home. She was born on February 3, 1950 in Grand Haven, MI to the late Roger and Margaret (VanderZaag) Russell. Janice married Charles Hardy on October 27, 1967 in Fruitport, MI.

Janice graduated from Grand Haven High School and was a life-long resident. She was involved in her community and loved volunteering with the March of Dimes. Janice enjoyed going for car rides, watching deer, reading, watching on t.v., and working on puzzles.

She especially cherished the time spent with her family and loved her little dogs, Oliver and Pete.

Janice is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 53 years, Charles; her daughter, Sharon Hardy of Grand Haven; her son, Christopher (Donna) Hardy of  Georgia; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jenny Russell and Betty Pierson; and two brothers, Norm (Wanda) Russell and Kenny (Diane) Russell.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Russell, Jr., Ronald Russell, and Willard Russell.

Private family services will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
