Wipp was a special guy that put a smile on anyone's face as soon as you saw him and he would have a new story to tell. We were sorry to be out of town and miss the memorial but his smiling face will be remembered forever. Our heartfelt sympathy to his wonderful family that we had the pleasure of watching grow up in Spring Lake. Our thoughts and prayers to each of you.

We were saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He truly left a positive influence on all those who he met and who's lives he touched. We were glad he had a small part in our lives and are thankful.
Please treasure all the memories you two shared for they will help in dealing with his loss.

Perhaps we will see you on the M. I. Y. C. porch holding court.

Were really going to miss Whip when we head down to the Key. So many great stories from that man, and always a ton of laughs.

It was always a great pleasure having cocktails on the patio.

Rest in Peace Bill, and blessings to your friends and family who mourn your loss.

Aunt Diana, Karen, BJ , Amey, Diana , Brad and families,

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.... Still trying to let it sink in since hearing about it Tuesday . Uncle Bill is a huge loss to everyone that ever met him, he was always bigger than life , always telling a joke whether it be stupid or not he always left you laughing. His appropriate Birthday on April fools day gave him a whole year to plan his next birthday prank. I remember Grama Wipp calling him her favorite April fool with her little chuckle on his birthday in Florida one year. And the one year he had everyone in Florida believing the bridge in Grand Haven was stuck open for it to actually get stuck a day later. And trying to beat him at RABBIT RABBIT RABBIT was impossible, he even answered his phone saying Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit on the first . It was my mission in life to beat him and I never did. He has been a big part of my life always calling me his 5 th daughter. From way back on Buchanon street playing in the sand box to Shady Lane and the trampoline. From summers on Mackinac and Camp Chippewa Trails to winter visits and New Years Eve's at the Buccaneer. Uncle Bill was always the best host always including friends and family. All the times at the Yacht Club with all the boats in the docks for corn roast , memorial weekend in saugatuck to the Parade at Aunt Dos I don't think there is a time or event in my life that doesn't have a memory of you and the family in it somehow. You will be missed but forever held tightly in my heart. Another Angel is born and the boys club is back together again. Cruise far , fly free, and we will listen to your laughter in our dreams.

All my love, you will be missed

A note to Mr. Whip....
What a sad time for all of your friends and family, 'Mr. Whip." The memories you brought to our family; Mackinac Is. Y.C., sitting on porch, listening to your jokes, stories and of course the great political discussions!!! Your trips to Cheboygan and bringing back books for our boys....
My favorite part of each summer was knowing we were going to see you & Mrs..Whip and the 'girls and their families.' As I said to you the last time we talked 'on the porch', during the 'Trump discussion', It's a good thing we love you so much!"
To Mrs. Whip and families, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. You were so fortunate to have him in your lives, and the memories you all have.

Dear Aunt Diana, Karen, Amy, Diana, Brad, and Family,

I just read with complete disbelief of the passing of Uncle Bill. I am so sorry for the loss you are all feeling right now. As I sit here thinking, there is not a year in my life that doesn't have a wonderful memory of Uncle Bill and all of you in it. It seemed growing up that we were always one big family, School, Mackinaw Island summers, Skiing in the winters, sailing at the SLYC. It is truly a great loss to everyone, but, I know Mom, Dad and Beth are welcoming him home for sure. I also know all your memories will keep you and hold you during this time of loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time as always.

Much Love to all,

Bruce

My condolences to the extended Wipperfurth family. I was very sorry to hear of Bill's passing but if there was ever a life worth celebrating it would certainly be his. Lord knows he made the most of his time in this world. I've very thankful for the opportunity to know him. Bill still plays a leading role in many of the favorite memories of my youth. My best to you all and God Bless.
